End my Torment (Gravity Falls major spoilers)

Description

Keep in mind this absolute monster started out as glasses practice. (Also, I'm pretty sure they're referring to Stanford as having blue eyes, but Fiddleford is too darn cute with blue eyes, I'm sorry)

I think that this has to be one of the most powerful pieces concerning McGucket's history. In "Weirdmaggedon Part Three: Take Back the Falls", Stan is shot by the memory gun, completely erasing everything about himself. This was his "death" scene. Thirty years prior, Fiddleford McGucket was scarred horribly by Bill and his demon friends along with his research with Stanford. He quit the project before it could come to fruition. Seeing as the memory gun was used to "kill" Stanley, it's implied that Fiddleford McGucket is all but committing suicide.

I'm sorry, Fiddleford, that my first drawn piece of you was this sad scene. Fiddleford has to be one of my favorite characters. Unfortunately, this means that Stanford... isn't I don't hate him, but boy did he do wrong. I could go on for pages, but I won't. I'll save that for another picture.

There is a lot you could improve on here. First and foremost, the anatomy. I would highly suggest studying anatomy a bit first. You don't have to get it perfect, but at least know the rules and understand how it works. From there, you'll know which parts can be exaggerated and work around, while also still making it look proper.

Next, the colors. From the looks of it, you have a bit of an idea about shading, lighting and shadows. Again, this could be improved on a bit. In terms of shading, I would suggest using a variety of colors like perhaps purple, blue or even red on the colors. If you're using something like Photoshop, just open a new layer, put the setting on multiply and shade away. This would really make it stand out a lot more. Lastly, textures ought to be based mainly on your style. If you're going for a cartoonish style like this, you ought to avoid using these sort of textures like the one on the coat, as they don't blend well.

Now, with all that said, I will still compliment the expression on the face. You got that look down quite right. It's not too exaggerated, but also not too bland, it's a good balance.

This comment may sound really harsh, but it's for improvement, so that you could get better. Don't stop! Keep working and doing your best!
